Alyssa Ezell, Psy.D.

Postdoctoral Fellow
Psychological Assistant to Dr. Turley DE #B1-0000964

My passion is helping children, adolescents, and adults better understand themselves through thoughtful, comprehensive evaluation and therapy. I believe that understanding the whole person including their strengths, challenges, relationships, values, culture, and goals is essential to meaningful growth.

In evaluation, I emphasize bringing together information from different sources to understand how your child learns, thinks, feels, and functions across settings, and translating that information into practical recommendations that can help them thrive. With adults, I see assessment as an opportunity to step back and look at the whole picture including your personality, relationships, emotions, strengths, challenges, and the patterns that shape how you experience yourself and the world around you.

I am passionate about providing holistic, client-centered psychotherapy. I place a strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship where you and your child can feel safe, supported, and truly seen. I utilize a flexible approach, drawing from different therapeutic modalities to match each person's unique needs, values, culture, family dynamics, and goals. I prioritize developing confidence, autonomy, and practical skills to support children in learning to love themselves while improving skills at home, school, and in their community and helping them truly thrive as they grow.

My hope is that our work together helps you feel truly seen and understood, recognize you or your child’s unique strengths, make sense of challenges, and feel empowered about what comes next.
