Meg Credit, M.A.

Psychological Trainee
Supervised by Rolf Ritchie, Ph.D. DE #B1-0011276

My name is Meg Credit, and I am a Counseling Psychology doctoral candidate at Lehigh University. I provide psychotherapy and evaluation services for adult clients.

Many people I have worked with have come to therapy with persistent relationship difficulties, feelings of confusion, general dissatisfaction with life, distress related to oppression and discrimination, past issues showing up in the present, a desire to understand oneself more, grief, gender related questions, and/or existential questions. I often work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma (on-going trauma, physical trauma, complex trauma, generational trauma, and traumatic events).

As a therapist, I am both relational and insight oriented, so I often focus on what might be happening in the space between us. I often bring forward what may go unsaid in ordinary social situations so that we can examine things more consciously together. I strive to cultivate an environment that invites emotional experiences in therapy, especially the emotions that can be unsafe for us to express outside of therapy, the emotions that we are often told (directly or indirectly) are wrong, the emotions we fear, and/or the emotions we have difficulty accessing.
