Isabella Palumbo, Ph.D.
Post Doctoral Psychological Asssitant
I am a neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ affirming clinician who is passionate about working with children, families, and young adults (ages 2-25). I provide client-centered neuropsychological assessment and research-based intervention. I am motivated to understand the unique systems that influence an individual’s development, such as biological and genetic factors, stage of life, family and community support, and systemic barriers to equitable treatment. I have dedicated my work to understanding one’s unique circumstances and goals to bridge the gap between the difficulties a young person may face and the services they need to reach their full potential. Following comprehensive evaluation, my goal is for families to have a clearer understanding of their child’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as how to move forward and improve their lives.
I also provide brief, goal-oriented cognitive-behavioral therapy and parent-management training to alleviate stressors associated with disruptive behavior, emotional dysregulation, educational difficulties, adaptive functioning, and major transitions in life.
